The video below is my final piece ' 1000 Miles' By Vanessa Carlton'. The video took me from October 2010 to February 2011. It took me nearly 5 months to produce the video because it had to look professional and i had to make it to the way i wanted my video to turn out. During the making of the video, i did struggle with some of the aspects of making the film as i was not sure what effect or what colours to use etc. At some points, i was getting very stressed and frustrated with the whole video because it was not turning out how i planned it out to be. In my video, i used a range of shots like wide shot, close up, medium close-ups, long shots. The main shots i used was close up or medium close-up. I used a lot of effects in the editing of the video in Premiere-Pro. I used: Mirror, Rotate, split screens and many more.

Final Digipak
These images are my final digipak. For my digipak i decided to stick with the theme black and white although i did use red on the back of the cover. i stuck with Black and White because in my video i used a range of black and white shots so i thought i should keep the digipak in theme with the video. I also kept the musical theme throughout the digipak, i used a range of musical notes on all of the digipak cases. I thought by using the musical notes they would make the album stand out and i think they have. Overall i am happy with my digipak, as it has everything i wanted to use. It took time to do my digipak as i kept changing my mind of what images and designs to use. I think my digipak is strong and has a big influence on my music film as it carries on with the musical theme. The digipak took me about 2-3 weeks to construct as i kept changing things and swapping parts around and making different versions.
Final Advert
The project you see above, is my final Music Cover Advert. This was challenging to make as i was not sure what type of advert to make. Overall, i like the way my advert has turned out, i have kept with the colour theme, throughout the advert. My advert took me about 4 lessons to complete, as i kept using different images as my front cover because i couldn't choose the best one but i have decided with this image as i think this is a strong image and would attract people to looking at the advert. My aim was to make the advert stand out with the picture and i think i achieved this.
If this advert was real, and was going to be advertised, i would see it in a magazine, or on some type of news article, even if it was on a local paper. I would try and out this in a popular place to attract teenagers as my film is targeted at teenagers.
